Bitmaps
The bitmaps.map file contains the images used in the game.
Bloodgulch
Author: Bungie
Bloodgulch features a tundra-like environment with sandy troughs and grassy hills. Sedentary cliffs border the map, and there is one cave near the red base that has two separate chambers. The map is well-balanced in that each team's side has comparable features.
Bloodgulch is the only multiplayer map that comes with Halo Demo and Halo Trial (confirmed). It is for this reason that it has been the foundation for the vast majority of Halo Demo mods, especially the ones that were created prior to the availability of several helpful Modding Tools.

It is a few days after the Master Chief infiltrated the Covenant controlled Silent Cartographer to retrieve data on the whereabouts of Halo's Control center. The other Humans on site chose to occupy it to keep it out of the hands of the Covenant. You're not going to let that happen. You are a Covenant Sangheili, or Elite, but not just any ordinary one. You have been trained to take on massive enemy opposition, to do what would otherwise take entire Squads. You escaped with a group of Elites from the Island after imminent defeat was inevitable, to re-group away from the threat and plan how to re-take the area. You are under supplied, forced to use captured Human drop-craft for deployment, and only having light ground vehicles for your use. However what you lack in armor, you make up for in personal weapons. You're armed with not only a Plasma Rifle, but the deadly Energy Sword, which has killed many enemies prior to your use of it. The Humans are under supplied as well, some choosing to use Covenant weapons to replace their own. They have somehow also twisted a captured Elite to fight their cause. Your mission includes not only to re-take the Island, but to also find out how much the Humans have learned about Halo and it's Control Center. At times you will see or hear events from the Human's attack, recalled by automated cameras and audio devices that the initial Covenant forces had placed around the Island. Your objective is clear. Re-take the Island, learn all you can from the Silent Cartographer, and see how much the Humans know about Halo's Control center.

Basically, Engineers will be encountered along with other covenant forces, in exchange for the minor grunts with plasma pistols. In this case I'd reccoment playing on a higher difficulty than usual due to the smaller enemy force.

This mod changes all the enemies in campaign to elites with energy swords and instead of a warthog there is a ghost. There are 3 different elites. Light blue elites pretty much do nothing. Blue elites attack you and are immune to being run over. Orange elites are crazy killers; they will attack your vehicle, have high health, jump, and they can spot you from far away.

Outpost Omega is UNSC's elite space station. It holds the main fleet of UNSC and lies about halfway between the Moon and the Earth. In the event of an alien invasion, Outpost Omega is Earth's last line of defense. After training in space combat for several months, you and your spartans were stationed at Omega when a Covenant fleet appeared from behind the Moon and struck Omega. It seems that UNSC had intel of the attack but was unable to ascertain its precise moment. Omega's fleet launched in defense and put up a good fight, but one Covenant cruiser made it through to the outpost. The cruiser deployed its infantry outside the station in an attempt to take it over, but we fought them off. Realizing that they couldn't take us in one piece, the cruiser opened fire and the outpost was annihilated.
You are the only survivor.
UNSC reports that two of our top secret X-2 heavy fighters were stolen and that a wave of intercepters is inbound to wipe out any straggling survivors. Your mission is to kill the intercepters and retrieve the stolen X-2 heavy fighters from the cruiser. Then return to Earth and help with the counterattack.
